Dallas Larry Hagman diagnosed with cancer, however says he can continue shooting the new series of Dallas. Hagman, best known for enjoying JR Ewing within the classic tv series, has assured fans it's a "very common and treatable form" of the disease and he's able to beat it.
In a statement to TV Guide, the 80-year-old actor joked, "As JR, I might go away with something - bribery, blackmail and adultery. however I got caught by cancer". Despite the diagnoses, Larry Hagman is showing no signs of slowing up and has no plans to drag out of the upcoming series.
He said, "I are going to be receiving treatment whereas acting on the new Dallas series. I couldn't consider a higher place to be than acting on a show i really like, with individuals I love", defiantly adding, "Besides, as we have a tendency to all apprehend, you cannot keep JR down".
The new Tnt series focuses on the younger 'Ewings' family as they clash over the long run direction of the family. The diagnosis is that the latest in a very string of health issues for Larry Hagman who underwent a life-saving liver transplant in 1995 once revealing his days of serious drinking.
Larry Hagman was the sole actor to seem in all 357 instalments of Dallas, between 1978 and 1991, as well as the famous 'Who shot JR?' episode.
